Country Star!

Haydn looooves country music! In fact, his mom records the country music countdown videos for him and he loves to play them...over and over again. Therefore, it was only natural for him to bring his guitar and perform his favorite new song by Sugarland for me. It was pretty funny because there were some people in the park that stopped to listen and clap for him. I guess you could say he might be on his way to becoming a country super star!

Blaire

Look at this sweet baby! Baby Blaire looks just like her Mommy but don't let that fool you, she is a Daddy's girl! Here are a few from our session. That strawberry hat is just too cute!

Baby Evelyn

She has finally arrived and what a beautiful baby girl! I was so happy to meet her and take her one week old pictures. She was fast asleep when I arrived and it looked as if nothing could wake her...until she saw the first flash of lights. She was wide awake for the rest of our session until the end when she pretended to be asleep for just a moment...when I got my favorite image.

Happy Birthday Blayklee!

Blayklee has been a part of the Little Miracles Club so I have been able to watch her grow up this year! It is always very exciting for me to capture the changes that infants go through. It goes by so fast and especially in the first year so like the song says: "Don't Blink." Just make sure you are capturing those memories so you will always have a way to remember them. I designed this announcement for her first birthday party. She loved the cake but was really sad when it was all gone!

Cooper

This cute little guy just turned 1 year old! Most babies are not too fond of the grass but Cooper was just happy to play outside. He also loved playing peek-a-boo and bouncing up and down on that chair and making us all laugh. Mom and Dad will be busy this late fall with another baby on the way!

Sisters & Friends

It is a joy to photograph these beautiful sisters because they are always overflowing with happiness. In fact, in one of the group shots I tried to get them to frown and they just couldn't do it-- they just looked at each other and started laughing. They are sisters but it is visible that they are best friends too. That is a rare and true gift! Here are a few from our session.

Visiting Grandma & Papa

These two cuties traveled from Illinois to visit Papa and Grandma in Lincoln for the weekend. Aidan was one of the first little boys I photographed, but it was my first time meeting his little sister Annemarie. Aidan loves to listen to Papa's make believe stories and go hunting for frogs. The way to Annemarie's heart is through a little chocolate m&m. Whatever works right?!
I love the tickle image...it is just so true of these ages!

Look who turned 1!

You might recognize this little boy....Andrew! He is on the splash page of my website all curled up at 1 week old. A year goes by so fast and I was happy to capture all of the memories. We have captured all of his little moments from newborn to 3, 6, and 9 months and now 1 year old. This was Andrew's first session outdoors and he was so happy just being in the moment and exploring! I think his favorite part was the cupcake he ate to celebrate his birthday! Happy Birthday to you...Andrew!

Olivia

In the first moments that I met Olivia, she had her arms stretched out towards me with a big smile! (Just like this first image below). I knew then that we were going to have a great session! Olivia just turned 1 year old and boy was she a fast one....but she was always smiling. I think Mom and Dad are going to have their hands full when her new baby brother arrives in the fall!
